One of my favorite commercials is the Kate Winslet for American Express campaign because it incorporates all of the plots of movies she has been in to tell a story as she walks through London. It is really creative because at first you think it is her real life, but then realize she is talking about her acting career. They do a good job of showing her doing things that let you know what movie she is talking about- for instance when she picks up a hook at Camden Market and is referencing “Finding Neverland”. - What is your favorite commercial or ad campaign? The campaign for real beauty by Dove. It's inspirational, and much needed. In a time where so much of what the media says influences a woman's body image, it's refreshing that Dove steps away from traditional advertising techniques (like using the impossibly thin, young, and flawless woman) and gives women permission to love their bodies again.
- What have you purchased from an infomercial? I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm the owner of the UGA edition Snuggie. Have you ever seen a better commercial? If you're not wearing a Snuggie to football games, you're doing something wrong.
